Accredited as a Chartered Account and a native of Pickering, Neil has worked and practiced in Durham Region for over 25 years.
As a Partner in the firm for over 16 years, Neil is committed to the Accounting profession and the standards on which it is
founded.
Neil is dedicated to understanding the environments and the needs of his clients to ensure that a fair and balanced strategy is in place. To do this, Neil works directly with the individual, owners, managers and boards to ensure objectives are set, best practises are in place and goals are achieved. One factor in their success is that Neil has developed an extensive external audit and reporting practice with clients in both the commercial and public sectors. With key owner-managed and employee owned commercial clients in the service and supply chain sectors including real estate development, engineering, and construction, Neil has established a reputation for applying his expertise to their specific situations to optimize results. This aptitude has proven valuable for his public sector clients in the health, children's' services and housing sectors funded by the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada as well. With the economic challenges of the last few years, corporate lending, especially for small and medium sized business has certainly been more challenging. As a Chartered Accountant and business owner, Neil brings a practical and realistic viewpoint to these issues and understands that owner managed businesses require personal attention.
